Propose removal of Mullach na Seangán in info box
[edit]The name of the village derives from Florence Court demesne and is English in origin. Whilst the area may have been known at some distant stage as Mullach na Seangán, I don't believe this should be in the info box as it does not relate to the name people use for the area. I agree with having this valuable information in the introduction, but I can find no use of the name Mullach na Seangán in any source from the past 300 years. To make it valid in the info box, I think we would need to have a verifiable source to show this name was used at some time when the village was in existance.
It is likely the existence of the village was entirely dependant on the big house, and that the settlements at Wheathill/Whitehill and Crossroads are far older than Florencecourt village. (The Marble Arch road on which the current village stands wasn't constructed until the second half of the 18th Century.) If we wish to have an Irish version of "Florencecourt" that would make sense, but as it stands, having Mullach na Seangán as the Irish translation seems illogical and incorrect.
If someone would like to propose a more suitable Irish translation, that would be great. MEDChambers (talk) 16:37, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
