Will take a look and jot notes here: Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 19:58, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No information about background in RSA? i.e what did her father do?
Not that I have found. I did come across some information about an uncle in Cape Town, which isn't in the article, but not about the father. I found a funeral notice for him, but it didn't say anything about him either. hamiltonstone (talk) 23:24, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
ok then - you looked and if we have no sources, we have no sources...Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 23:35, 7 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The family migrated to Australia in 1883 where Florence worked as a governess, while undertaking studies in art. - see I'd put the comma after the "where" not the "while"....?
So would I :-) hamiltonstone (talk) 00:17, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done. hamiltonstone (talk) 02:01, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Any more we can add about any paintings and critique of them would help the article focus on her work a bit more...if any can be found.
Have found one more fleeting comment that i will try and add today. hamiltonstone (talk) 00:17, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done. hamiltonstone (talk) 02:01, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Any more on her theosophical beleifs and how they may have influenced her painting would help alot.
I have one more quote from her, that i haven't worked out how to integrate into the text. Will think some more.hamiltonstone (talk) 00:17, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the quote, but it only indirectly goes to her beliefs. hamiltonstone (talk) 10:52, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Link the Observer newspaper..?
Was trying to avoid links in quotes, with the exception of the ones to the Hacketts, because it was so obviously the right place to do it...hamiltonstone (talk) 00:17, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But linked it anyway. Hopefully no-one will mind. hamiltonstone (talk) 10:52, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Damn - was at Rookwood last week - be good to find her gravestone and take a snap. Might do so next wednesday when I drive past it...hmmm.
That would be interesting to see whether there is a gravestone. Rookwood is a fantastic place to visit. If you go, it is: Area :IN Section :J Grave number 207. hamiltonstone (talk) 00:17, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Very little is turning up on UNSW library search - looks like you've done a good job scouring sources.....Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 11:32, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
