Proposal to merge into flood control
[edit]I am proposing to merge this small article into flood control and at the same time to discuss a possible name change for the flood control article. Note that flood management currently redirects to there. I am aware that "flood control" and "flood mitigation" are not identical but I think the similarities and differences between the two terms can be quite easily explained in one article, rather than spreading the content over two. - I think it is a good idea - the flood control artlcle does not talk about property level measures at all, whereas this article does make the distinction between large-scale, community-scale and smallscale flood proofing measures implemented by individuals. It would also be good if we could source an example of the smallscale and community scale. Whereas the example from York is a good example of relatively large-scale flood control infrastructures Richarit (talk) 20:10, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- There haven't been any more reactions. So I suggest we go ahead with this merger now. EMsmile (talk) 09:30, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
