Historical flags

This is not an article about the flags of different historical entities existing on the territory of North Macedonia in the last centuries as Serbian, Bulgarian, Albanian, etc. This article is called List of flags of North Macedonia. You must gain here consensus and the name of the article must be changed too in such case. There must be direct and clear historical link between the flag under question and SR Macedonia, Rep. of Macedonia, i.e. North Macedonia. Jingiby (talk) 18:13, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, the lead could be more clear about the scope of the article, otherwise it could be confusing to people. We need to add timeframes (ex. 20th and 21st centuries). Otherwise, people will end up adding flags of medieval entities as well.

In addition to that I think we should also place the IMRO flag in its own category rather than the historical one due to it belonging to a political entity rather than the actual state. Epnesthede (talk) 13:11, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
