Ideal production

[edit]

The "Ideal production" section heading is not a normal term in car articles. What does it mean? Bahooka (talk) 16:56, 26 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know either, but I removed it as the only content read more like a press-release than an encyclopaedia. Dorsetonian (talk) 08:20, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This article reads like an advertisement.

[edit]

This article blatantly reads like an advertisement. I cleaned up the lead section to make it read like less of an advert, but the rest of the article is filled with details that praise the Ocean and references to its styling: "the worlds most sustainable vehicle", and "futuristic, elegant look" which is not a neutral point of view, and therefore not relevant for an encyclopedia. Should there be a note at the top of the article that displays that its an advert? Opok2021 (talk) 15:46, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, and have added the tag. The whole article was created in the last few days by copying word-for-word the content of Fisker Inc#Fisker Ocean (without attribution) but prior to that it was a redirect to that same content. I wonder whether the best option is to revert this to a redirect until it can be created from the ground up more objectively? Dorsetonian (talk) 08:02, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

the car doesn't use VW's meb platform

[edit]

reference 1 clearly states that. it should be removed or replaced with the right platform. Gerdolfo (talk) 17:54, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the content in that parameter. That is a more appropriate approach than putting "not" before the term. Bahooka (talk) 19:02, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Battery Capacity update

[edit]

According to many source, the Ocean One, Extreme and Ultra have a 113kWh gross capacity and 105kWh net, usage capacity. The Ocean Sport has a 80kWh gross capacity and 75kWh usable. I dont know how to fit this in the proper data fields. Thanks

I’m fixing it. Added the big battery specs and cited Fisker documentation. I will add the LFP specs and see what I can find in regards with the Sport’s power specs. Aku017 (talk) 04:41, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Recall section

[edit]

A recall section has been added to the article. The recall is minor and in my opinion not significant enough for an encyclopedia article. Is there a convention that guides us about recalls? I couldn't find anything at Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles. Bahooka (talk) 15:58, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
