NPOV tag: Advantages of fiscal union - but no disadvantages?
[edit]The section "Advantages" as currently (Oct 19) sets out the case for just one side of the debate. This puts the article well below the standards that Wikipedia sets for itself and really makes it useless to anyone who wishes to understand the topic. I can't correct it myself as I know next to nothing about the topic but I do know that eurozone member states are, without exception AFIK, hostile to the idea. So if Fiscal Union is so obviously a Good Idea, why is that so? The article needs to cover it! --Red King (talk) 11:32, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
Article needs more work
[edit]Some text on the USA would be worth including: the US has a federal budget and federal taxes but there are also state taxes and budgets. Does this make it any less or any more of fiscal union? I read recently that the EU's single market is far more integrated that the US's - is that relevant?
In summary, the article needs a lot more work! --Red King (talk) 11:32, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
