Updates on behalf of First Nations Information Governance Centre

[edit]

Representatives of the First Nations Information Governance Centre (FNIGC) have reviewed the contents of this page and provided an updated version that better reflects the subject matter. Over the coming days I will be making the requested edits to this page, adjusted as necessary to comply with Wikipedia standards. WiznerdTheEagle (talk) 20:35, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To clarify, I am associated with the original student project that produced this article and am acting on guidance from the facilitating professor, who identified this page as unsatisfactory and contacted the FNIGC to assist in quality control on this article produced under her leadership. I have adjusted the language provided by FNIGC to comply with Wikipedia standards.
I will slow down my changes, I apologize for the volume of my original pass, but I would appreciate an indication of reasoning before my edits are completely rolled back. WiznerdTheEagle (talk) 22:42, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite of article

[edit]

As this article in its current form is insufficient, I have written a complete replacement article. As it does not align one-to-one with the existing article, there is no logical way that I see to do my edits piecemeal. I an unsure of the best practices for this scenario, but I am going to try to just make the change in one fell swoop.

I believe that a change of this magnitude will raise red flags. For anyone reviewing this article, please feel free to let me know anything you think would help either the new content or my approach to making this adjustment. WiznerdTheEagle (talk) 17:11, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
