Who is Louise Bachelor?
[edit]Several nostalgia sites state that First Class was originally presented by a Louise Bachelor, but in the BBC Quiz Book the foreword by Debbie Greenwood reads:
"It really has been tremendous fun recording the first three series of First Class at the BBC in Glasgow"
This would suggest that Greenwood presented the show from the start, so I have removed references to Bachelor. Does anyone have any more information?

I think I can help. FC was originally a BBC Scotland production, broadcast only in Scotland, presented by LB. It then 'went national' with a new presenter - DG. I don't know how many series were shown just in Scotland, nor do I have any authoritative source to back up this info, just my own memory, so not sure if it to Wiki standards. I can't comment on other series but the 1986 one was definitely broadcast in a 5:30-6pm midweek slot. --Billo72 (talk) 20:07, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
EugenJC (talk) 21:11, 9 June 2021 (UTC) It was first broadcast by BBC Scotland and Louise Bachelor, she was a news presenter for BBC Scotland. I wrote the games that were used on a BBC Micro that used in the show in a combination of basic, assembler and machine code, hence on the show they called the computer "Eugene". I was working for the BBC at that time. EugenJC (talk) 21:11, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
