Needless article
[edit]- The List of baseball jargon is the right location for this definition. It doesn't need a separate article.~Mack2~ (talk) 06:25, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
- Not always. People may still want to use it as reference because of the names list LReyome254 (talk) 15:14, 31 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not a Wikininja, but I'm pretty sure one of the guidelines is to avoid lists. I agree with the OP. What's more, Template:Baseball positions has a lot of junk in it along these lines. It seems to mix roles (such as SP, RP, long reliever) with descriptors like "fireballer" and "switch pitcher" ... not to mention "contact hitter." Golly. Woodshed (talk) 00:55, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

More Names
[edit]How about we add the Texas Rangers closer Neftali Feliz to the list, as his fastball has been known to touch 100 mph LReyome254 (talk) 15:19, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

This term is already in the List of baseball jargon (F), which is where it belongs: in a glossary. It doesn't merit a separate article.--Mack2 (talk) 02:36, 7 March 2008 (UTC) |
