[edit]I love the band, but this page blows. It's so damn flawed. I'm too lazy to do it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.125.179.65 (talk • contribs)
- Well, on behalf of FM fans everything, thanks for letting us know ;) Deizio 15:08, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
Notability questions
[edit]Having difficulty seeing how this meets WP:BAND? Doesn't look like the albums are on notable labels, and Googling doesn't turn up any non-trivial press that I can find. Are there any sources besides the band and label's site that can be used to verify what's written here? Seraphimblade 20:20, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Not sure which version of WP:MUSIC you're looking at, how well you know the band or the google results you turned up but the notability here is beyond question. FM have toured extensively worldwide, been featured in notable compilations and video games in addition to their album releases. Liquor and Poker Music is home to several notable bands. I'll see if I have better luck digging up sources.Deizio talk 16:58, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- I've replaced both the notability and primary sources tags. Primary sources are still the only ones cited-it's really not appropriate to remove that one until some secondary sources are actually cited. Also, the primary notability criterion is also satisfied only by multiple non-trivial source mentions. If they're that big, I'm sure such exist, but I'm sure not finding them! - I think the notability tag is a little excessive given how many of the secondary indicators they demonstrably satisfy. However, if we don't have rules, we have chaos so I defend to the death your reasoning for tagging. And we now have an MTV feature and another source. If anything else turns up I'll add it, hopefully we can move on now. Deizio talk 10:44, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
- Absolutely, got secondary sources, and that's what's needed for notability too, so certainly support the tag removal this time! Seraphimblade Talk to me Please review me! 10:55, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Fmfmep.png
[edit]Image:Fmfmep.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
