Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --DekkerTimes (talk) 17:04, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
I am happy to make changes or additions per the Wikipedia community's request, but I respectfully disagree that the creation of this article meets either of the criteria cited for speed deletion.
A7: The article identifies why the subject is important in three ways. First, company's breadth of distribution in all 50 states (16,000 retail locations and most national grocery retailers) and growth rate are inherently noteworthy in an encyclopedic manner. An article from Inc. Magazine is referenced with specific numbers. Second, Fire & Flavor is known for popularizing the plank grilling technique. Because of a rapid rise in plank grilling's popularity over the last decade, this trend is culturally noteworthy. This claim is supported by the articles cited. Third, the article provides necessary and important context to a major brand partnership, ie. the release of John Wayne branded BBQ products under the mantle of Fire & Flavor.
G11: The creation of the Fire & Flavor article is not exclusively promotional. The language is straightforward and composed of verifiable, cited statements.
Thank you for you time. Please let me know what I can do to comply further with the A7 and G11 criteria.
Have a great day.
