untitled
[edit]Says she is a director but no reference in the body copy to this. Only acting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philipeditoreu (talk • contribs) 08:21, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
Fiona Mary Wilson
[edit]Could the source for this be linked? I remember hearing on radio that she shared her name with Fiona Richmond and Equity rules meant that she could not use that name. Now if this were a mistake a link in wikipedia to the correct name would end this confusion 86.42.17.30 (talk) 13:51, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Marriage
[edit]I think Fiona Shaw was already married like the changing of her surname indicates. The only source I found about this was imdb, but as you can see, the name of her ex-husband isn't given, just the fact that she does have two children. I ask to someone with a better knowledge of her biography to please add these informations.85.243.22.224 (talk) 19:03, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
She's never been married. In her BBC interview "5 minutes with Fiona Shaw" she explains why she had to change her last name during her time at RADA. And she never had any children. Her biography often gets mixed up with the one of the writer Fiona Shaw. That's why you found these information about her having children. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.219.3.255 (talk) 15:47, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
Opinion presented as fact
[edit]I have deleted the following eulogistic opinion. If it is to be included in the article, it should be attributed to a published source. Also, as another Wikipedian has noted, the article does not document ANY activity by her as a director.
"She is an excellent Actor and director. She has made numerous contributions towards the film and theatre industry and her contributions will always be remembered."
Recurring role not credited the same
[edit]Why is her role in Harry Potter listed with so many different character name variations?
She is listed as "Aunt Petunia Dursley", "Aunt Petunia", & "Petunia Dursley". Given her character didn't change across the series shouldn't her character name remain constant? Nathanieloffer (talk) 00:15, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Now fixed. Barry Wom (talk) 10:03, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
First tiene I saw Fiona Shaw in a movie was in Three men a little lady.
[edit]I just think You can add this to her filmography 189.203.62.236 (talk) 17:35, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
