Infobox release dates?
A thought has recently occurred to me: general practice seems to be to include the release dates of compilation releases in the infobox. For instance, this article included the North American and European release info for Final Fantasy Origins. I can't help but worry that this might be a little misleading, and, besides that, we have a separate article concerning most FF collections. So I've gone ahead and removed that info from the infobox, though I've left it in the article itself. Does anyone have any thoughts on the matter? – Seancdaug 20:54, Jun 13, 2005 (UTC)
Release date categories
I added back in the 2003 releases category since there seems to be quite a bit of precedent for CVG articles to include a release date category for release dates in all regions. Feel free to revert if anyone feels that it should be reverted. Y0u (Y0ur talk page) (Y0ur contributions) 13:19, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
- "All regions" is not the problem. The problem is that Final Fantasy II was not released in any region in 2003: Final Fantasy Origins was. The PlayStation rerelease was released in 2002 both individually and as party of the Premium Package (the Japanese version of Origins), but the standalone game was not released outside of Japan. Since we have a seperate article for Origins, the categorization for that particular release should be handled on that page, not here, if only to avoid confusion. – Seancdaug 16:07, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
- That's right, I wasn't thinking about how they were released seperately in Japan. Okay. Y0u (Y0ur talk page) (Y0ur contributions) 16:11, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
Fan Translation screenshots
I happen to have a copy of the Neo Demiforce fan translation and would be happy to submit screenshots of it. However, i'm not alltogether sure on legal and copyright issues since it is an unofficial translation. I really want to be sure it's okay before posting anything. Zainker 00:11, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
- I think we're probably safe posting screenshots for informational purposes. That being said, we should keep in mind that while Demi's translation certainly deserves a mention, it's kind of niche thing, and we probably shouldn't dwell on it too much: many more people are likely familiar with the game through Final Fantasy Origins or Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls, both of which had a much wider audience. So I wouldn't overload the page with screenshots, but one or two seems perfectly acceptable, IMO. – Seancdaug 02:28, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
- Just added a screenshot from the fan translation into the gallery. If anyone thinks it is legally inappropriate feel free to delete it. I won't be (very) offended :)Zainker 18:27, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
The Problem With Bugs
Should the bugs mentioned really be called "problems"? "Mistakes", sure, but to call them problems suggests that they should be solved... and were that to happen, the game would basically become unplayable for anyone who didn't have a million hours to spare. Just a thought.

FF2 WSC Image
The WSC image of FF2 contains the IGN watermark, but no source or copyright information. Isn't this against wikipedia image policy? Please feel free to make fun of me if I'm wrong.
--Polkapunk 16:47, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- I added source information, but it already has copyright information. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 21:27, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Do not add FF4 being called 2 again
This was done in 1991 that was 15 years ago and released 1997/8 under its proper name and again recently relsed under the proper name again in 2005 this is out of date and is alreddy noted under the Unreleased English version section WP does not exsit to mention mistakes made 15 years ago in the same arctial rarely does correct infermation get mentioned twice in the same artical and as such we should not list incorrect infermation like this Deuxhero 20:36, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
- This information is not incorrect. FF4 was (annoyingly) first released as FF2. Fact. Some people still won't know about the correction, we must respect the uninitated. This is a prime candidate for a disambig note. --JiFish(Talk/Contrib) 15:14, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
awkward line
on the page there is a line which states "while increasing and decreasing their intelligence and strength ratings respectively" I don't know about any of you, that is an awkward line. change it? Tensa Zangetsu 02:30, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
save points?
I don't remember there being save points in the PS version, and I know for certain there weren't any in the Famicom version. Is this an error, or did they only exist in the GBA version? (DrZarkov 18:37, 29 November 2006 (UTC))
- The GBA version let you save anywhere except in battle. No save points. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.216.109.103 (talk) 03:30, 8 March 2007 (UTC).
