Good work
[edit]I think this has been a good group effort to make an informative breaking news article! - Master Of Ninja (talk) 20:19, 20 September 2020 (UTC)

Confusion over SARs
[edit]I think it would be beneficial to note the true findings of these papers. There seems to be confusion that this is insignificant because the banks did the job of filing SARs. While true, the point is that this was shown to be ineffective; FinCEN and the banks were ineffective at stopping money laundering. Thoughts? TexanElite (talk) 19:19, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
- I had re-written the introductory statement to make the consequences of the SARs more clear earlier in the day. It's the 3rd sentence of the introduction. I had a line in findings "They also criticise the United States government for not forcing the banks to stop this activity." Perhaps there is a way to make this more prominent? - Master Of Ninja (talk) 22:13, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification, I was looking at the nominations for the news, and saw people still confused. I did not notice your earlier edits. Thanks for pointing them out! TexanElite (talk) 00:04, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
