Requested move

[edit]

Edgar Wallace moviesEdgar Wallace – {Wallace's fame is for his movies, and thus this should be discussed just under his name. The movies part is superflous, and not encyclopedic} copied from the entry on the WP:RM page

  • Oppose Sorry, I must object (disclaimer: I translated the article (about 30 minutes ago)). Both articles are of decent size, and the Edgar Wallace movie genre is very well known (at least in Germany). Discussion of this genre is highly encyclopedic. Also, Edgar Wallace is not only known for "his movies". And the movie influence he's best known for (King Kong) isn't even a Edgar Wallace movie. -- grm_wnr Esc 21:01, 20 January 2006 (UTC) (Moved from WP:RM --Lox (t,c) 08:49, 21 January 2006 (UTC))[reply]

Merging the articles would not require WP:RM. Septentrionalis 01:45, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading Page Title

[edit]

This page seems to be about the German films based on Wallace's work, and ignores the Hollywood films. Either it should be expanded to include other films, or re-titled to give a more accurate idea of the content. RGCorris (talk) 08:15, 30 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
