Merge proposal
[edit]So why do people TAG without any kind of discussion here? We have rules for a reason, people. Specific criticism is welcome, blanket Tags are not. Please remove the Tag or add to the discussion. User:phishman 28 June 2006
No, this article can be large enough by itself. When we include everything that it may involve. DO Not Merge without Discussion, Please. User:phishman 28 June 2006
I will admit some confusion -- it's not clear to me why there should be two seperate articles, when both of them seem to cover the same subject? Unless I'm missing something, and please let me know if there's an important distinction I'm missing. Luna Santin 11:55, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
POV / Advert?
[edit]Is this article about film memorabilia, the "community", or the web sites mentioned? It seems like the previous merge has made this article confusing and off-topic. -jca2112 02:06, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've tried to fix it a little - mostly minor tweaks, though. I do wonder about the mention of specific websites, except for eBay (eBay is very independently notable and has obviously had an effect on the trade of buying and selling film memorabilia, which definitely relates to the topic at hand). MoPo, though... I have never heard of it, though I've only recently gotten into collecting this stuff, so I wouldn't know if it's really notable enough or not. Runa27 20:47, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
=== difference between "film" and "movie" -- when people use the word film these days, it is commonly used to refer to still photography. This article should be entirely revamped to use to terms "movie" and "motion picture" which are both more accurate and more common 61.7.159.140 19:06, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Er, no they don't. Perhaps your friends or local community use it that way, but that's another matter. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 20:13, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
