Removal of tags

[edit]

I've provided substantiating references and rewritten to adapt the informal style to bring the text more in line with Wikipedia format. I believe that leaving the warning tags in place would be misleading and so am removing them. Opbeith (talk) 07:46, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas Deichmann's wife noticed that the barbed wire was on the wrong side of the poles. He looked into it and some truth came out. I have seen the video taken by Serbian State Television which includes Fikret Alic being shoved to the fore in front of (note this) the fence ... the TV crews (both Serbian and ITN) were INSIDE a compound. The picture was cropped down to little more than Alic with his ribs. I don't believe this article at all, and it's no surprise that there are no sources. It is also no surprise that even The Guardian got sucked in by the powerful image. Even the Inkatha Freedom Party got sucked in.

Also please note that while in US libel law Truth is an absolute defense, English libel law makes no allowance for truth. If you embarrass somebody, they can sue and take you to the cleaners.
