Nolli mapping as separate from figure-ground mapping
[edit]The original Nolli map is frequently referred to as an original example of figure-ground mapping in urban design / urban cartography literature [1], [2][etc]. The Nolli maps are fundamentally ichnographic, as are figure-ground maps. I think the reference to Nolli maps being separate should be removed, as they function more as a subset technique than a wholly different mapping process. This seems to be case of all A is B but not all B is A. Hewwo3 (talk) 23:55, 17 March 2024 (UTC)
