Influences

[edit]
  • (Note:Non-controversial yet unsourced content removed from article. Add back when source is found.)

Their musical influences include Pavement, Yo La Tengo, Mclusky, Spoon, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Patti Smith, The Apples in Stereo, Elf Power, Built to Spill, My Bloody Valentine, Chapterhouse, Devo, Sonic Youth, Roxy Music, Talking Heads. --candlewicke 17:32, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Phantom FM, a radio station based in Dublin, and now defunct music show, The Night Shift, broadcast on Channel 6, have championed the band from their early days, particularly DJ Sinister Pete. They have also recorded sessions for Marc Riley on BBC Radio 6. --candlewicke 01:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Poor quality image

[edit]
I do not know how to describe this picture, too dark!
Hey, turns on the light, please!

What is this image? Actually this file don't add nothing to the article. Should be removed, and, if possible deleted.--Cannibaloki 16:25, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually you can see the FLA drum in the corner. And if it's too dark, make it lighter, don't delete it! There are people who do that, unfortunately I'm not one of them at the moment. Also the other two images in the article are from the same event, this is from a different one (well a different year). --candlewicke 01:32, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Three people maybe afraid of something
Here, here!
Hi, I found a better image that was originally posted to Flickr. See below!--Cannibaloki 16:08, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have to disagree about it being a better image. Only three of the members are included and two of those are visible just about by their heads. Also, most of the image is a large white square. --candlewicke 17:44, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Fight Like Apes (album)

[edit]

Individual album releases should be covered at the band's main article. Don't be concerned about the length. The band is notable but the album is not, because it hasn't been released it. Roches (talk) 22:33, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

GA concerns

[edit]

I am concerned that this article no longer meets the good article criteria. Some of my concerns are listed below:

  • The 2016 breakup is not adequately covered: instead of prose, there is a long block quote from one of the artists that they posted on Facebook. This needs coverage from independant, secondary sources and more information presented in prose.
  • There is lots of uncited prose.
  • There are one-sentence paragraphs that should be considered for expansion or merged together.

Is anyone willing to address these concerns, or should this go to WP:GAR? Z1720 (talk) 20:02, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
