Link To Sales Page
[edit]External links to pages in websites which give information (or ideally original reseaarch) are, in my view, to be encouraged, but there`s a link in this article (number 2) which is to a sales page of a website. Is that acceptable ? --JustinSmith (talk) 09:15, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
- In this case, I think so (that's why I put it in!). The point being made is the economic viability of fibre over coax cable, and a sales page is the only way I could find to reference comparative prices. I'll try and find another, non-commercial reference but meanwhile I suggest it stays (but by all means substitute another copmpany's prices if you want). And in case anyone is wondering, no, I don't work for the Aerial Shack company linked to (or Global Invacom, for that matter). Satbuff (talk) 12:35, 16 February 2010 (UTC)
