Ferrieres is the site of old buildings throughout the municipality that includes, in particular, the farm "de la House" near the church. This used to be a court house and dates back to the 16th century. This farm is also known for its educational program focusing on dairy farming. Of note in the village of Ferrieres is "le Musee du Jouet" near the centre of the village.
Ferrieres-town is twinned with the wine reknown village of Chablis. On every Easter Sunday, a wine festival is held.
