Misspelling

Hello. I am new to editing in Wikipedia - and have not had luck correcting the spelling of my grandfather’s last name. It is currently listed as “Álvarez”, but our family has never used that spelling formally or informally. The correct spelling is simply “Alvarez”. Please advise.
