"His country"

[edit]

As best I can understand the Albanian original, Murad did not say that Albania is his country (it was his father's before that man emigrated to the United States; it never was Murad's mother's country). Rather, he said (translating from the cited article), that he hoped that Albania would come in at least one key respect to resemble his own country, the United States of America, where he was born and educated:

"[Murad] said that his parents were not educated, but . . . always committed to education and its importance. 'My achievement is thanks to the dedication of my family and devoted to them and my nation . . . . This is the fifth time that I come here . . . . But this time I'm impressed with the changes that are taking place here in Kosovo and Albania. I hope that in the future the Balkans will be a mini-USA, but integrated in the same way as are the people in America.'" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.193.121.209 (talk) 21:20, 16 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
