[edit]Let's not try to merge all naming conventions into one name: is this figure titled as a Portuguese infante or a Flemish count? I say the latter, since that is how he becomes significant in history. Srnec 03:42, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Prince Ferdinand, Count of Flanders → Ferdinand, Count of Flanders — He was never a Prince of Portugal. He was a ruler of Flanders and the article about him should thus be named in accordance with other articles in Category:Counts of Flanders. Surtsicna (talk) 15:05, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support Even if he was a prince, it is not normal Wikipedia practice to include titles like prince in article titles. PatGallacher (talk) 11:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
