RAF Feni
[edit]Before the USAAF arrived at RAF Feni, there were various RAF & IAF units.
So far I have identified the following, but nailing down their actual history is something I haven't managed so far.
- No. 113 Squadron RAF; January – February 1943, and also June – August 1943, with Blenheim Mk.V
- No. 615 Squadron RAuxAF; December 1942 – May 1943 with Hurricanes
- No. 4 Squadron, Indian Air Force; March – June 1944 with Hurricanes
- No. 82 Squadron RAF; August 1943 – November 1943 with Vultee Vengeance
- per either Moyes, Halley or Jefford - someone who actually has these books can find out.
Sorry, that's all I've got for now.
