How notable?
[edit]I'm a bit surprised to see this stub on AfD, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fender Stringmaster, but don't think there's a lot of chance of the proposal succeeding. As I noted at the AfD, I get 22,400 ghits unrelated to Wikipedia for Fender Stringmaster.
I also note on ebay currently at least two of interest...

FENDER LAP STEEL STRINGMASTER DOUBLE 8
Starting bid: GBP 799.00 Approximately US $1,153.60
Up for auction is this 1952/3 (Serial No. 0417) Fender Stringmaster Double 8 Steel Guitar. The Rolls Royce of Steel Consoles this has a lovely sound provided by twin Telecaster style pick ups on each neck. Volume and tone knobs and two switches for single neck or twin neck playing. The electrics are fine, the body has a few nicks and the colouring varys from light to dark on parts of the guitar. The legs work fine but are a bit pitted in places. There is no case, but will be well packed in solid guitar box. This is a weighty item and collection would be the better option. No reserve and low starting price on this much sought after and now quite scarce Fender model.
The quad eight in mint would sell for a lot more than either of these of course. Interesting? Andrewa (talk) 11:05, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
