Dead external link (2009)
[edit]The external link to the AIA college of fellows is dead. I checked the AIA website and there is a link shown at http://www.aia.org/about/history/AIAB028819 but it doesn't work.--Tomaterols (talk) 13:45, 6 April 2009 (UTC)
I'll replace that dead College of Fellows link with a live one. Also, the "2 percent of all architects" is a bit confusing, as the AIA says that "Out of a total AIA membership of over 80,000 there are over 3,000 members distinguished with this honor" ... which is 3.75%. But of course, not all registered architects are AIA members. In 2011, the AIA said "fewer than 2,700" were Fellows[1]. In 2012[2], 2013[3] & 2014[4], they elevated 105, 122 and 139 to Fellow status, giving an upper bound of 3,166. So I'm going to change the main article to read that "fewer than 3,200" AIA members are Fellows. See footnotes/references below for the sources. Almadenmike (talk) 23:03, 2 July 2014 (UTC)

Added list of fellows (2015)
[edit]I noticed the Honorary Fellowship of the American Institute of Architects article has a listing of all honorary fellows, so this article could use a list as well. The information is publicly available at the AIA website.[1] Photobro (talk) 20:44, 18 March 2015 (UTC)
I tried making a list and seeing how many have wikipedia pages, but the number is pretty low... perhaps a section of notable architects and firms that are FAIA with wikipedia pages would be useful. I'll try and add some later Photobro (talk) 19:32, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
Added a photo of a well known work made by an FAIA architect to flesh out the article. Perhaps a gallery of notable buildings or achievements would be good too Photobro (talk) 22:58, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
