Orphaned references in Feihong FH-97A

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Feihong FH-97A's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "mwm_ws10c":

  • From Chengdu J-20: "Chinese Media Confirms First J-20 Stealth Fighter Unit With New Engines Assigned to Northern Theatre Command". Military Watch Magazine. 20 June 2021. Archived from the original on 9 July 2021. Retrieved 8 July 2021.
  • From Shenyang WS-10: "Chinese Media Confirms First J-20 Stealth Fighter Unit With New Engines Assigned to Northern Theatre Command". militarywatchmagazine. 20 June 2021.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT 01:45, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've reverted the edits made by this bot because they're either redundant to other references already present, or irrelevant altogether. The FH-97A and J-20 are different aircraft; the references given for various quantiative qualities of the 97A are verifiable given the references this bot placed here. For now, the easiest fix is to remove all the unfreferenced material. The anonymously-added section claimed that the FH-97A has the same specs as the manned craft "according to the designers", but doesn't cite that quote and doesn't correctly cite any of those parameters. Maybe the best solution is to merge this article into J-20. -- Mikeblas (talk) 18:18, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
