Inclusion of misleading photo

[edit]

Lotje, you added a photo of a hen after it has been in a battery cage. I have seen that image before, but unfortunately, the loss of feathers on the hen are from abrasion with the cages sides and the feeder, not father pecking, and so this is really rather misleading. I think the image should be removed or replaced with one that shows feather loss due to pecking. All the best. Chris DrChrissy (talk) 14:34, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have also noticed the addition of the rather curious 'eyeglasses' image. To the best of my knowledge these were used to prevent cannibalism (hence the red lenses) rather than feather pecking so again I feel this photo should be removed or replaced by a more accurate image.
