Fair use rationale for Image:Faujdarhat Cadet College-Monogram.gif
[edit]Image:Faujdarhat Cadet College-Monogram.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:44, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
Copyright Violation?
[edit]Parts of this article appear to have been copied directly from the Bangladesh Army's official website at http://www.army.mil.bd/node/387 Revent (talk) 14:53, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for drawing attention to this, Revent. I agree that it looks that way, but I think that (as you suspected) it's the other way around. The content appears to have been added to the Bangladeshi Army page between this version (19 August 2010) and this one (20 October 2010). I'm reasonably confident that it was copied from us, probably from this revision of the article. The content can be seen evolving naturally in the earlier history of the article. I'm going to go ahead and place a {{backwardscopy}} tag on this page; but please let me know if you think I'm wrong about this. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:16, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Justlettersandnumbers: No, I fully agree, I just didn't really feel comfortable not flagging it for someone to check because of the 'claimed' copyright. TBH, I don't think they got their money's worth on this one. Reventtalk 11:26, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

Extra sentences in the Alumni Section
[edit]There are many extra sentences in the alumni section for nothing at all. Its seem to me like a biography. Shouldnt it be summerized? Rafi Bin Tofa (talk) 12:29, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
