Picture of Leslie Caron
[edit]The picture of Leslie Caron shows clothing and a situation that do not appear in the film. And it doesn't look much like she usually does. Does anyone know for certain that picture is what is says? Man with two legs (talk) 20:14, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
- I brought up the same issue (before it had a caption). The caption states that it's a promotional photo, not something from the film itself. Clarityfiend (talk) 04:33, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Reception Section
[edit]This article's section on the film's reception gives undue weight to criticism of the motion picture. Aggregate review site Rotten Tomatoes and the Internet Movie Database both show the film to be fairly well regarded. This section needs to be fixed. I may do it myself when I have a chance. - I used two of Rotten Tomatoes' three Top Critics (Variety was neutral). The others are for the most part from newspapers I've never heard of or had no details available. But you have a point. It could use a favorable review to balance things out. Clarityfiend (talk) 02:35, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
- I tried the Halliwell Guide for a more favorable review, but the main write up was negative and the two outsider capsules it quoted were both dismissive. Gee, I like the damn thing. — HarringtonSmith (talk) 13:25, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- Me too... i thought it was the 'perfect' film role outcome/result/product/conclusion after Grant's 'Operation Petticoat'. 2602:304:CDAF:A3D0:AD65:51C9:43C:9095 (talk) 05:14, 6 August 2017 (UTC)

Factual Mistake
[edit]The summary of the movie says that Commander Frank Houghton used a parachute drop to provide extra supplies to the island. In actuality, the parachute drop never happened. To quote the movie, "There is too much enemy activity in the area to chance a parachute drop, and he [Frank Houghton] suggests we make due with the supplies we have." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.196.217.150 (talk) 12:48, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
