[edit]

This article needs converting to encyclopedia style third person prose, with removal of prescriptive stuff like "You need to provide your ..." - MPF 11:26, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed and changed the parts with "you" in it. Peter Maas 21:03, 29 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It also needs the references acknowledging correctly- The theory about the chinchilla mutation being the sub-species natronensis was put forward in 2003 in the article "Fat tailed gerbils" by E.cope, National gerbil society member in their society journal which was later published on the gerbilshowsuk website. Some of the Duprasi information contained here is from that well known article which has copyright yet the author fails to acknowledge it.82.33.152.40 18:38, 13 August 2006 (UTC)A.Byrne[reply]

The information itself has no copyright, only the text itself which has not be copied as far as I can tell. The theory and other information here can be read on several website, books and has been discussed on several forums. When you're missing a reference or information you're free to add it. Peter Maas 15:45, 14 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Have made some revisions to the grammar, wording and syntax in light of the formality tag: have not finished, though. MBerrill 22:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have made some clean-up to one of the sections. I may add some sources later on. Abby 01:39, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
