The recent edit change from "Kentucky Fried Chicken" to KFC is NOT vandalism. AFAIK it is still the current name of the franchise. 216.179.123.112 (talk) 20:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
Cover version alert!! The original was written by Eric Dikeb in the early 80s.
[edit]Check this - in Dutch: nl:Eric Dikeb and see where the song originally comes from! -andy 85.180.238.111 (talk) 06:53, 12 April 2008 (UTC)

As the above poster mentioned, this song has been around since at least the mid eighties when I learned it in Girl Scout Camp. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.137.150.35 (talk) 14:24, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
Knew the basic chorus & rhythm slightly later in the 80s as an Primary School hand clapping rhyme/skipping chant - eta: remember discovering another Euro track via a forum/blog (talking about bad pop music), part the song was the same as The Fast food rockers' but not in English and didn't have the 'pizza hut, pizza hut, Kentucky fried chicken & a pizza hut' chorus. 109.224.137.121 (talk) 02:16, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
just seen it's sort of covered by the Fast Food Rockers' entry - http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Fast_Food_Rockers "Their most successful hit was their 2003 release, "The Fast Food Song", which uses a verse of an American children's song parodying the traditional folk melody "A Ram Sam Sam". The Dutch DJ Eric Dikeb made a Dutch song out of that traditional melody in 2001, called "Pizzahaha". At that moment he was taking part in the Dutch television show Big Diet, in which contestants had to lose as much weight as they could over a few months. Therefore Dikeb came up with the idea to use the names of his favorite fast-food restaurants in the song. "Pizzahaha" did not make it to the Dutch charts, but in Belgium the band Dynamite made a big hit out of it, with a Belgian version called "De Pizzadans". It also topped the charts in Germany, called "Burgerdance", by DJ Otzi.[2]" - 109.224.137.121 (talk) 02:33, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
