Homopolar generator?[edit]

This article conflicts with the article about Homopolar generators: That article says that Faraday wheels are homopolar generators, and that they use electric fields to generate the potential difference. Which article is more accurate? EricWesBrown (Talk) 22:29, 27 April 2011 (UTC) Nevermind, this article is self-contradicting. Name change?[edit]

The more common name for this device today is Faraday disc. This name received 24,000 hits on Google, as opposed to 1,800 for "Faraday wheel". --ChetvornoTALK 01:18, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
