Tropical North Queensland \ Far north Queensland

[edit]

The distinction needs to be made between far north Queensland and tropical north Queensland, as the tropics includes a much larger area of state than the defined "Far North Queensland Area" and could lead to confusion. Hence, I have edited the article to reflect this.

The local government areas have changed since the amalgamation of Qld LGAs. (Atherton, Cairns, Cardwell, Douglas, Eacham, Herberton, Johnstone, and Mareeba) should be ( Tablelands Region, Cairns Region, Cassowary Coast Region) BruceStockwell (talk) 04:36, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
