History
[edit]Do we really need a blow-by-blow account of every leaflet droped, every phonecall made, every petition signed and by whom? L.J.SkinnerWOT?|I did 18:16, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Frankly, yes. The story of the Stadium is a long and incredibly twisting one. From rejection, to permission granted, to rejection again, and back to success, via referenda, questions in Parliment (and a very direct 'Are we getting a stadium' to Tony Blair live on local commercial station Southern FM one morning) - as well as the social side of things, with Fans United, the bouquets of flowers from every single Premiership and Football League club in support of the stadium - the list goes on. Normally, perhaps not, but Falmer was no ordinary win for the club. Muchclag (talk) 21:11, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
WikiProject Geography
[edit]Couldn't this article also be considered part of WikiProject Goegraphy as well? The problems with planning etc. certainly have to do with geography, and I actually used this page for my geography homework. Jprulestheworld01 (talk) 17:55, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Name Change
[edit]As of June 2023, the stadium is now known as American Express Stadium, should we remove the old logo that lists it as American Express Community Stadium? I'm yet to find a suitable replacement but signage around the stadium has changed. Flcinusa (talk) 16:38, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Amex Stadium Capacity
[edit]Hello. I have supplied a link to the official premier league handbook for season 22/23 and it has the correct capacity for the Amex Stadium. The supplied source is the premier league themselves. Also the clubs own website confirms the capacity as well. Please read this link which is the clubs own page, at the bottom it confirms the capacity of 31,876. https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/club/history/club-history/the-amex-stadium 80.2.235.18 (talk) 09:57, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
