Album Certification and Sales Numbers Citations

[edit]

While the citations for chart rank in various countries are valid, they do not include certifications or sales numbers. In the U.S., an album must sell 500,000 units to be certified gold and while I understand it varies from country to country, platinum certification at 30,000 units seems absurdly low. If that is, in fact, all that's required, the units sold can be inferred from certification. But the certification will still require citation.
