Appropriate

[edit]

I started this entry because I thought it was appropriate to share about the history and status of one of the first college newspapers bought out by a major corporation. The original entry on the Florida State University, which I tried to build up a little, I still found lacking.

Hopefully this will encourage some more research into the roles of college newspapers in communities, as well as the history of large newspaper corporations and the impact they have on communities when local papers are bought out.

I will continue to work on and research this entry as time permits, and welcome more news on it (as well as help with the formatting, as this is my first Wikipedia entry).

I'll go ahead and do the move. The name of the publication uses the ampersand formatting, so the primary article location should address this. — Poga — (talk) 15:17, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oops. Sorry; that was careless of me. I should have noticed that FSView & Florida Flambeau has an established edit history. Since I'm not an administrator either, we'll have to wait for the requested move. — Poga — (talk) 15:47, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
