Specific show information

[edit]

I'll tell you what, Reddysteddybrekky, if you can provide three links to articles about the Adrian Kennedy Phoneshow, to show that it meets Wikipedia's notability criteria, then I won't object to its being included. A paragraph about a notable program is a reasonable thing to have on the article, but a paragraph about a program that can't be verified by reliable sources is unnecessary and unwise. -FisherQueen (Talk) 21:47, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My two cent(s): The programme quite possibly does meet notability criteria, but the section will still have to have a neutral point of view. For example, the use of the word Skanger would fail that, and indeed, I would be surprised if you can find a reliable source that would say that the majority of listeners to the programme fall into that category. The usual source of radio listener figures in Ireland is the JNLR survey, and unless they have changed their practices recently, they don't ask those surveyed if they are Scangers or Skangers. I have taken note of your complaints and have modified the section accordingly. Please feel free to discuss further if problems still arise. There already exists an article on this show, FM104_PhoneShow, to which I have added some tags. Either it should be merged into this article, or speedily deleted. Most of it is blatant advertising. Violates a host of Wikipedia policies includin WP:NOR, WP:V and WP:SPAM/WP:ADS/WP:ADVERT. Reddysteddybrekky 11:04, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A confirmed case of sock puppetry for Reddysteddybrekky, Weekscrazy, and Onetwothreefourfivesixseveneightnineteneleventwelve. The sock puppeteer, Brian Reddyb, has been recently banned for setting up an elaborate hoax concerning a Rednex founding producer and an Iraqi coup leader. As per WP:BAN: "Any edits made in defiance of a ban may be reverted to enforce the ban, regardless of the merits of the edits themselves." Users reinstating the section related to The Adrian Kennedy Phoneshow must take responsibility for its content. Ayla 23:42, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fm104 also strongly believed to be involved in the sock puppetry, having performed an identical act of vandalism as Reddysteddybrekky (compare [1] and [2]). Ayla 13:30, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
