Confused

[edit]

I find the table in the section "Grand Prix standings" confusing. I guess the numbers in bold indicate the best results of a player (although there are various issues to be fixed in that regard), but I have no idea what the brackets around numbers signify. Could someone please clarify this? Thank you. Toccata quarta (talk) 10:03, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bold indicates single GP win, a number in brackets is the worst of four and doesn't add points to total, as only best three count. I explained in article now. -Koppapa (talk) 11:05, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thank you. Toccata quarta (talk) 11:16, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

London 2012 Crosstable

[edit]

Can we revert the crosstable for the London event back to the original? I see what the edit was trying to do, but Head to Head and number of wins were not used as tiebreaks in the first event. In the standings page of the event website Topalov is listed as first based on his SB score. Steveg922 (talk) 16:40, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Toccata quarta (talk) 17:00, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't really matter. SB doens't break ties either. Place and money and points are shared equally. I'd delete all tie-breakers from the cross-tables. -Koppapa (talk) 08:14, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
