Family
[edit]The article mentions the Bey's children and wife. Who were they? Are they still alive? V. Joe (talk) 18:31, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- Amr Bey is indeed reported to have had children. However, it is not known whether any of them are still alive or have had descendants of their own. No one was present to collect the Lifetime Achievement Award awarded posthumously to Amr Bey last year, which means that he either does not have any living descendants, or that his descendants' whereabouts are unknown. The article states that Amr's children obtained British citizenship along with their father, so they and their descendants (if they have any) can probably be traced to somewhere in the UK. --BomBom (talk) 01:39, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
- Amr Bey was my step grandfather. He married my grandmother Joan Marrot, and so as a consequence the three children (one of whom was my mother) were his stepchildren. 2A00:23C6:2916:EB01:C25:FA9D:13F4:BE0F (talk) 03:59, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
- The article states his children obtained British Citizenship. This is incorrect. The three children, Rachel, John, and Anthony were his stepchildren, Rachel being my Mother. Amr Bey and my grandmother Joan married after the death of my Grandfather 2A00:23C6:2916:EB01:C25:FA9D:13F4:BE0F (talk) 04:07, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
