Brussels Airlines between Abidjan & Monrovia

[edit]

Someone put a note in the Airlines and Destinations section of the article to not put any other destination besides Brussels for Brussels Airlines. This is incorrect. Brussels Airlines absolutely has rights and sells tickets between ABJ and ROB. SN flies ROB-ABJ-BRU on Sundays and Wednesdays and BRU-ABJ-ROB on Fridays, and has done so for years. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dfiner (talkcontribs) 18:34, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well-spotted, I agree with this comment. Probably the person who erroneously deleted ROB from SN's destinations thought it was just a technical or intermediate non-cabotage stop, which should not be listed on this type of page (but often is).

I would only say that it seems to me to be common on African aviation pages for connecting destinations to be listed, as well as fifth-freedom routes. To my mind only hub and fifth-freedom airports should be listed. I have edited some destinations served by various airlines to reflect this. Pufferfyshe (talk) 14:30, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
