It's an Ad

[edit]

This may as well be a paid ad; I wouldn't be surprised if it was written by the comapny. This is not encyclopedia style.202.82.171.186 (talk) 04:07, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In reply to poster: The edits made are to update the corporate history and new leadership, as it is outdated information. 68.179.102.145 (talk) 18:28, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am an employee of Extreme Pita at Head Office and would like to make changes to our wiki page. I would greatly appreciate if you could make these edits for me? I managed to update our logo.

Summary Section: Extreme Pita has been serving healthy, great tasting pita sandwiches since 1997. Extreme Pita was the first restaurant to marry old world authentic pita bread with healthier, fresh, and unique flavours.

Instead of Founder, can we have "Owned by": MTY Tiki Ming Enterprises Inc

Key People: Ken Monteith Brand Vice President Erica Gale Director of Marketing Krista Merkley Director of Learning and People Development Danielle Elias Regional Director of Operations for Ontario, Atlantic, USA Mark Winter Regional Director of Operations for Western Canada [1]

History: Add this paragraph to History section:

On May 28, 2013, MTY Food Group Inc., said that its subsidiary MTY Tiki Ming Enterprises Inc. has struck an agreement to buy the assets of Mississauga Ontario-based Extreme Brandz, owner of Extreme Pita, PurBlendz and Mucho Burrito, for $45-million (U.S.) from the three co-founders. The brand is now a part of the MTY Group, headquarted in Montreal.[2] 68.179.102.145 (talk) 18:38, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: The "summary section" is a blatant advertisement. If a passage directly appeals to consumers, it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. The corporate owner and acquisition history could be added, but only if you find an independent and reliable source to support the statement. Altamel (talk) 00:30, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
