Talk:Expression (language)

The only linguistic theory that I know of which uses the word "expression" is Louis Hjelmslev's Glossematics and for him expression is the the linguistic form which is opposed to the content of meaning - he talks about the linguistic sign being divided between planes of content and expression. This article doesn't seem to be about this use of the word and probably is a neologism.·Maunus·ƛ· 13:30, 22 September 2010 (UTC)
