Actual place of the experiment
[edit]Was this experiment done in Echo Lake or at Mount Washington (New Hampshire) ? the sites are 2863km appart, so it doesn't seem like it was done in both, and here and here and also here says it was done in Mt. Washington. I can't seem to find where it says that it was done Echo Lake. Although I don't have access to the original paper either right now. JunCTionS 15:26, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
' Ok, just read the original paper and saw that the actual location was indeed Echo Lake but also Denver. Wonder where people got Mt. Washington from... JunCTionS 23:04, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Actual date of the experiment
[edit]I know this isn't too relevant, but the facts are clear. Although everywhere else it reads that it was done in 1941 it appears this is only the publishing date since as you might see on the original article the submission date is December of 1940, hence the experiment was done at most in 1940.
I believe this change requires no discussion but I leave this note here for everyone else that might have read the common error JunCTionS 14:48, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
