Fiji?

[edit]

I've never heard anyone outside a pub suggest Fiji should enter a team. I really think this page loses credibility by mentioning them in the same breath as more serious bids with websites and administrators in place. Likewise suggesting a bid's home ground is going to be a 10,000 seat ground (Logan) is crazy. If they're seriously proposing a 10,000 seat ground in that state will be their home ground they can save a lot of time and pull the plug now. TBA would be a better entry for this page until the bid team comes up with something better.

Personally I think the "official bids" (with websites and with bid teams employing staff) should be more prominent in the article. Any other "suggested" teams should be at the tail of the article with some citations to news articles mentioning the bid. Thoughts? Tigerman2005 (talk) 13:28, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed Tigerman. I'll start trimming the article down if no-one has any objections? Bongomanrae (talk) 05:39, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

British Bulldogs

[edit]

The only reference to this is a single article that is almost 4 years old. It hasn't been mentioned by Koukash since who is now looking at a Cumbrian team instead. There is no progress to speak of. The NRL/ARL has also never even acknowledged the idea and only ever talks about Perth or Brisbane 2. There is no reason to include it on this page, unless we want to include every little passing reference to the most ridiculous ideas. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.254.2.58 (talk) 14:09, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
