Enclaves
[edit]I suggest talking of them as "enclaves", not "exclaves". YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII (talk) 00:26, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- @YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII: The source says "exclaves". Do you have some reliable source that calls them "enclaves"? Vanjagenije (talk) 09:14, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Vanjagenije: I'm not saying they're not exclaves. But according to Wikipedia definition they're also more specifically enclaves. --YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII (talk) 14:23, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- @YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII: Using Wikipedia as a source is not allowed (see: WP:CIRCULAR). We need reliable independent sources. Drawing conclusions from Wikipedia articles is WP:ORIGINAL RESEARCH and is also not allowed. Vanjagenije (talk) 16:56, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Vanjagenije: So, can I just put the same sources as in the Enclaves article? --YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII (talk) 20:39, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
- @YOMAL SIDOROFF-BIARMSKII: You need reliable sources that call those West Berlin territories 'enclaves'. If you use separate source to prove that they are enclaves, and that source does not mention those particular territories, you are making WP:SYNTHESIS which is not allowed. Life in the exclaves
[edit]This article could do with some content about what life was like for people living in the exclaves - how easily could they travel? How did their postal service and retail supplies work? Were they walled in? How were relations with their East German neibbours? Did East Germans use them to escape to the west?
Is there anything in the German version of the article, that can be translated? Does anyone have other sources? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 17:48, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
