Closing montage and future events
[edit]Changed the line starting with "circa 2010" to read: David and Keith joined in a marriage/commitment ceremony with family and friends in attendance (was: David and Keith marry in a commitment ceremony).
The obituaries[1] at the HBO site for the series refer to David and Keith as one another's husbands, implying legal marriage, and it is not difficult to imagine that same-sex marriage would be legalized in California by 2010, since in 2005 the state came very close to doing so.[2]
Certainly it could be argued that the legal marriage implied in the obituaries took place after the 2010 ceremony depicted in this episode, or that by the time of Keith's death referring to "unmarried" same-sex male partners as husbands was common convention. But since it is possible that the union shown in this episode is a legal marriage, the description should reflect that. A small semantic change (but in many ways isn't that ultimately what the same-sex marriage debate comes down to?)

Keith's death
[edit]Is anyone sure Keith died unloading *supplies* from his security van, and not precious goods? Any source for this? Because...unless Office Max and Staples both go out of business in the future, I doubt "supplies" would be a product worth robbing and killing over...Banpei 06:36, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Additional Information
[edit]I've been reading the character articles and in several, the Future and Death part chronicles things that weren't mentioned in the finale. For example, Brenda's article states she married again, had another child, and wrote lots of books etc. Where does this information come from? Naysie 12:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- Mostly from the official website, which has a lot of interesting information about the show. --Conti|✉ 14:54, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Seems like nearly every reference article here is no longer around. This page could use some updated; there are plenty of recently posted reviews and analyses of this episode that could be used to replace. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.243.62.208 (talk) 18:21, 27 January 2014 (UTC)
