Typewriter
[edit]Introduction suggests that drummer Jerry Allison both slaps his knees for percussion and plays the typewriter for percussion. Listening to the song makes it quite obvious that it is only one of these. Claims for typewriter are at times left as a claim the author themselves questions Buddy Holly Handwritten Letter Typewriter Percusion, are merely posited without source Sounds of Typewriters in Music, or are referential to this very Wikipedia article Buddy Holly- Everyday (Single Track)Everyday (Buddy Holly Song). [edit]Just removed this. Internet reaction. The song has been often mocked online for the perceived similarity between the percussion and the sounds made during masturbation. Sounds specious, don't replace it without consensus. MartinSFSA (talk) 07:13, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
