Overall: Great hook! Might be a good candidate for the last/quirky hook. Article is well-sourced with online references; I verified the claim in the hook. Prose is neutral and well-worded; Earwig shows no copyvio. If I had to offer a minor critique, there's a bit of redundancy in the first paragraph of the Composition section: described
is used twice in a row, then compared
three times, and said
two times after that, to attribute critic opinions. Perhaps the word choice could be varied a bit (eg using "called it", "labeled it", or "noted its production was similar to"). Nonetheless, the article is certainly DYK level already even without those edits! Frostly (talk) 07:15, 9 November 2024 (UTC)

Lead
[edit]- Add how it was diamonds first billboard chart entry.
- Done
Background
[edit]- Nothing but the last line in the section seems relevent.
- "It was written by A. G. Cook and Hannah Diamond, with Cook producing it" -> "It was written by A. G. Cook and Diamond. Cook additionally served as producer.
- Added something similar
Composition
[edit]Alot of quotes, anyway to reduce this?
- Reduced a bit, though I'm afraid of losing too much of the quotes' original meanings if I paraphrase too much. I believe the current number of quotes is acceptable.
Release and reception
[edit]- Why is "The Forty-Five" reliable?
- It was listed as reliable on WP:A/S following this discussion.
Misc
[edit]- Infobox image has proper rational and infobox.
- No talk page messages since a passed DYK two months ago.
- Earwig detects around 12% similarty.
- Archive all sources probably just use IA bot
- IABot request sent, though it appears that it is down right now.
- Dates are inconsistently formatted
- I don't know if this was pointed as a problem, though it should be fine with the {{Use dmy dates}} at the top.
- Spot checked 8 refs and everything lined up
